Back in Windhoek and another guest house. My room is across the patio and the doors to the house open at a very strict and Germanic 7.00am. Locked out like one of the dogs (that bark all night right across the whole suburb) I am waiting for my bowl of muesli and yoghurt. These places are clean cheap and functional but you are locked into this compound with south African TV and two sachets of coffee for long periods of the day.
Last time I chose the hotel in town and I am even more convinced that it is worth it. My one night stop over here is not so much of a challenge but with almost two weeks travel ahead of me I am in need of as much creature comforts as I can get.
Tomorrow back to the airport at 5am for the flight up to Joburg and on to Nairobi for another week.
Perhaps they can install a guest flap for next time ?
