The new season

11 days into the new year and here I am at Heathrow. 5am and the start of the new travel season. Ten days around Kenya and Namibia but the upside is that there is no more travel in the diary for
the foreseeable future.

My last years end of season resolution was to travel less and do more desk based work. I am pretty sure that if I stay strong and don't take every job that comes my way I might just make it.

So far in January I have not turned a wheel on my bike so there will have to be a readjustment on February 1. Last year I managed 3 short rides a week so I know its possible.

The weather last year was cold but not windy and far more condusive to biking. My absolute fear of failure in the 150 mile ride we were taking on it was a powerful force ejecting me out the door everyday I need to find that inspiration.
